Raquel is a consummate professional initially trained as a print model and classical ballerina. Raquel studied fine art at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, she directed her focus to medical aesthetics, becoming a registered medical aesthetician in California and Massachusetts. Raquel brings over ten years of experience in holistic healing and medical aesthetics/laser holding certifications from the American Heart Association AED (Health Care Provider), The International Dermal Institute of Los Angeles (post graduate), Guinot of France, CME (Continued Medical Education) credits in Laser Skin Surgery via Syneron/Cynosure and Candela lasers, NYU, NYC. A certified Allergan consultant (Botox & Dermal fillers). She consults and assists in cosmetic surgery, tattoo removal & laser lypo-suction.
Raquel is also a celebrity make-up artist & boutique perfume designer. She worked with many national celebrities and magazines including: Bobbi Brown (Seattle WA), Jose Eber, Seventeen, Shape, Entertainer, and Glamor magazines. She currently hosts & orchestrates many national fashion shows, films, and charity events including: The Boston Ballet, Boston Casting, Boston Magazine, Saving animal victims of Katrina, Brandies School of International Business, The Massachusetts Film Bureau, Wang center for the Arts, Boston Latin Academy, The Elle fund, Make a Wish, Boston Magazine & The BCAE (Boston Center for Adult Education). Spokes Model for National Latin film Awards, Boston Latin TV, In Style Magazine Spring Show & ESPN.
